Illegal Alien Groped Nine High School Girls in Virginia — Judge Gave Him A Slap on the Wrist and Told Him ‘This Does Not Define You’

An 18-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador named Israel Flores Ortiz was convicted of groping NINE girls at Fairfax High School in Virginia. Nine victims. High school students. Girls who were just trying to walk down the hallway between classes. Judge Melinda Vanlowe handed down a sentence akin to a slap on the wrist for sexually assaulting all of the teen girls – 360 days — and with time served, this creep has about 135 days left behind bars.

That’s 15 days per victim. Fifteen. You get a longer sentence for shoplifting a nice jacket at Nordstrom.

But don’t worry — Judge Vanlowe looked this predator in the eye and told him, “I absolutely believe in redemption” and “this does not define you.” How comforting. We’re sure the nine girls he groped in the hallways of their own school feel very reassured by the judge’s faith in his personal growth journey.

Here’s how this animal ended up in a Virginia high school in the first place. Flores Ortiz waltzed across the border illegally in 2024 and was released into the country under the Biden administration’s catch-and-release policy. Because of course he was. The federal government literally escorted him into the interior of the country, where he eventually enrolled at Fairfax High School and started grabbing teenage girls in the hallways like it was his extracurricular activity.

Thirteen girls came forward. Thirteen. He was convicted on nine counts of assault, acquitted on three, and had one charge dismissed. His public defender — and this part should make your blood boil — asked for a sentence of nine days. Nine days for nine victims. One day per girl. The defense attorney actually characterized the sexual assaults as “butt-grabbing” and “immature behavior.”

Immature behavior. That’s what they’re calling it when an adult illegal alien targets high school girls.

Judge Vanlowe called it a “very difficult case” and acknowledged the conduct was “targeted” and showed a “pattern” of “deplorable” behavior. She admitted the assaults had “adjusted how they move through life” for the victims. And then she gave him 360 days and a pep talk about redemption.

One of the victims wrote a letter to the court. She said this wasn’t about immigration — it was about “a guy who made me feel unsafe.” She said she just wants to go back to being a normal kid. That’s what this case is about. A teenage girl who can’t walk down the hallway at her own school without looking over her shoulder, because the federal government dropped an illegal alien predator into her life and then a judge decided his future mattered more than her safety.

We need to be very clear about who failed these girls. The Biden administration failed them by releasing Flores Ortiz into the country. The school system failed them by enrolling an adult illegal alien alongside teenage girls. And Judge Vanlowe failed them by treating nine sexual assaults like a parking violation with a side of therapy.

The defense wanted nine days. The judge gave 360. And somehow, both of those numbers are an insult.

These girls will carry this with them for the rest of their lives. Flores Ortiz will be out before Christmas. He also got two years of probation and a “psychosexual evaluation,” which sounds like something a college professor made up to justify their salary.

This is Fairfax County, Virginia. Not some border town. Not some abstract policy debate on cable news. This is a suburb of Washington, D.C., where American parents sent their daughters to school and a foreign national who should never have been in this country turned the hallways into his personal hunting ground.

And the system that was supposed to protect these girls? It held the door open for the predator, watched him assault nine of them, and then told him it doesn’t define who he is.

Tell that to the girls.
