Liberal Supreme Court Justices Didn’t Care If Their Conservative Colleagues Got Killed New Book Reveals

Mollie Hemingway just dropped a bombshell that should have every American questioning what’s really going on inside the Supreme Court. According to Hemingway, who appeared on the Megyn Kelly podcast to discuss her book on the Court’s internal dynamics, the liberal justices didn’t just disagree with the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. They actively dragged their feet on their dissents — knowing full well that every day that decision sat unpublished was another day their conservative colleagues were in physical danger.

Nothing says “collegial disagreement” like watching your coworker dodge assassination attempts and shrugging.

Here’s the timeline. Justice Alito finished writing the majority opinion in Dobbs back in February. The conservative majority asked the liberal dissenters to wrap up their written dissents quickly so the decision could be published. Why the rush? Because somebody had leaked the draft opinion to the press in May, and once that happened, the five conservative justices had targets on their backs.

And we’re not speaking metaphorically. Protesters published the home addresses of all five conservative justices. Mobs showed up at their houses. Justices with young children needed emergency security details. Some of them started wearing bulletproof vests. Bulletproof vests — to go to work at the Supreme Court of the United States.

Oh, and a man was arrested outside Justice Kavanaugh’s home with a gun, zip ties, and a plan to murder him. That actually happened. A literal assassination plot against a sitting Supreme Court justice.

So what did the liberal justices do when their conservative colleagues said, “Hey, maybe finish your dissents quickly so we can publish this thing and reduce the security threat”? According to Hemingway, they essentially said no. They showed what she described as indifference to the safety of their own colleagues.

Think about that for a second. These are people who work in the same building. They eat lunch in the same cafeteria. They share the same hallways. And three of them watched as the other five dealt with death threats, armed stalkers, and round-the-clock security — and decided that dragging out the process was more important than keeping their colleagues alive.

This wasn’t a disagreement about constitutional law. This was a power play. The liberal justices knew that the longer the decision hung in limbo, the more pressure the mob could apply. Maybe someone would crack. Maybe one of the five would switch their vote. Maybe the public rage would change the outcome. And if a conservative justice got hurt in the process? Well, that’s politics.

We’ve been told for years that the Supreme Court is this sacred institution where brilliant legal minds debate the finer points of constitutional law with mutual respect and decorum. Hemingway just ripped that curtain down. What’s actually happening behind those marble walls is that one side treats the other side’s physical safety as a bargaining chip.

Remember when Chuck Schumer stood on the steps of the Supreme Court in 2020 and screamed at Gorsuch and Kavanaugh that they would “pay the price” and “reap the whirlwind”? Everyone clutched their pearls for about 48 hours and then moved on. Schumer set the temperature. The leak turned it up. And the liberal justices — the ones sitting twenty feet away from the people being threatened — didn’t lift a finger to cool it down.

The left doesn’t just want to win arguments anymore. They want the other side to be afraid. Afraid to rule. Afraid to dissent. Afraid to go home at night.

And if you’re wondering why the mainstream media isn’t covering Hemingway’s revelations wall-to-wall — well, you already know the answer to that one. The story doesn’t fit the narrative. The justices who are supposed to be the villains in the media’s version of events are the ones who were wearing Kevlar to work. The justices who are supposed to be the heroes are the ones who shrugged while their colleagues dodged death threats.

This is the modern left. They’ve turned the highest court in the land into a war zone, and they want you to believe they’re the victims.

The conservative justices ruled correctly on Dobbs. They wore the vests. They endured the mobs. They watched a man get arrested outside Kavanaugh’s home with murder on his mind. And their liberal colleagues couldn’t be bothered to finish their homework on time to make it stop.

That tells you everything you need to know about who these people really are.
